JAA Robinson O. Everett Distinguished Life Service Awards The Judge Advocate Association has established its Distinguished Life Service Award for those very special individuals who have given a lifetime of (1) dedicated service to the sacred principles of military and veterans law and justice and (2) devotion to and furtherance of the mission and objectives of the Association and its members. The Award was first presented to Chief Justice Robinson O. Everett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. The Association then received permission from Judge Everett to name the award after him. The Award is the Association's highest award. The Judge Advocates Association also presents the recipient an Honorary Life membership to the Association. Chief Judge Robinson O. Everett has helped present the
Award to two subsequent recipients at the JAA/JAF Annual Awards Banquet
