Who Are We?

We are a group of Real Estate professionals specializing in the housing needs of today’s military family. We are either retired active duty, spouses of active duty, or have extensive experience within the military community. The typical Realtor® that you will work with has sold at least 15 million dollars in Real Estate over the last 5 years.

We realize that you may be in a hurry, needing to either sell and or buy quickly. We will work hard to meet your needs. If we don’t have a Realtor® in either of your locations, we will find one that is qualified to meet your needs. We also have vast resources for financing your new home, or providing financing assistance for the buyer for your home.

If you are buying or selling anywhere in the United States, AFRS can help you. Even if you are not military and are moving near a military installation, we can help you too!

This service is FREE! You do not pay a penny more for either buying or selling a home with us. Our profits come from commission costs through arrangements we hold with agents around the country.

Some organizations have relocation services claiming great savings, but beware. These companies may be large but often don’t understand the unique issues that face military families. This is exactly why we founded AFRS – to serve people like you. We have been there and understand what military moves are like. Large companies have a mix of good and bad agents – having a company of our size allows us to select only the best agents who know the military and have military experience. Armed Forces Relocation Service was founded by Patrick O’Brien. Pat has been in the Air Force reserves for the last 10 years. He is marrying an active duty Air Force member. His father was on active duty for 29 years. Pat has been a Realtor® for three years and brings the unique experience of having the military move him many times (he attended 8 schools between 1 and 12th grades). He worked for a German moving company for 3 summers while his father was stationed at Ramstein AB and understands ALL angles of the business. Pat has sold more real estate in one month than the average Realtor® sells in one year. Not just concerned with the numbers, Pat always makes his customers #1. In his second year of Real Estate he received an award for 100% Customer Satisfaction and was 1/2 of the #1 Team for Listing and Selling For Sale by Owner Properties (some of the hardest homes to get sold).

Pat’s goal in creating the Armed Forces Relocation Service is to relieve as much stress as possible from military PCS moves. Pat is currently with his fiancee in Illinois.
